Network

The Network dialog is used to specify the SV1107IPEXT’s network environment.

Access Ports

If a rewall is being used, the Administrator can specify

(in the rewall set up) the port numbers that it will

allow. When connecting to the SV1107IPEXT, users must

specify the port number as part of the IP Address.

If an invalid port number (or no port number)

is specied, the SV1107IPEXT will not be found.

(i.e 192.168.0.60 / 9000 for the Windows client,

192.168.0.60/9002 for the Java client.)

Please Note:

If there is no rewall (on an Intranet, for example),

these numbers will not have any eect.

The access ports cannot have the same value.

A dierent value must be set for each one.

Program

This is the port number that must be specied when connecting

from the Administrator and Windows Client. Valid entries are

between 1024 -60,000
